The Internet Marketing food chain. What constitutes the food chain then and where exactly are you? Here’s my analogy that hopefully can explain what an internet marketing food chain is like…

1. Merchants

Merchants are at the top of the food chain. They are the whales and no one else is above them. Merchants need to take into account shipping, handling of transactions, payment and a whole lot of logistics issues that happen when you’re the merchant. Needless to say, merchants get a good share of the profits in order to cover their work and contributions.

2. Hunting Packs

Hunting packs are akin to the affiliate networks. Examples are Clickbank, CJ, Azoogle, CPA Empire, Copeac, Double Clicks, just to name a few. Merchants form alliances with these affiliate networks and leverage on existing killer affiliates who already have a database of customers that will purchase their products. Affiliate networks handle the processing of payment and are the bridge between a merchant and affiliates.

3. Affiliates

Affiliates are the solo hunters. They are the ones that generate sales for the merchant. As an affiliate the cost is not high, compared to the merchant itself. All he does, is recommend a product and get paid for it, sometimes up to 50% profits. The best kind of affiliate program are the residual membership type products. That’s because you’ll get paid forever each month and your efforts cumulate over the years to earn a healthy 6 figure per annum income. Hybrid Network Marketing style residual membership type products are also very good, where you can introduce other affiliates to the same product and profit from their work.

4. Adsense folks

Adsense, to me anyway, are at the bottom of the food chain. That’s because folks that benefit from adsense spent alot of time building blogs and creating fresh content. If you’re the owner of a high traffic website, you could earn a good income from adsense, but for the most people, many do not earn a full time income from this. In fact its very profitable & much faster to reach a 6 figure income just leveraging off the efforts of folks that build Adsense sites and pay a small amount of money to do this.

So there you have it, if you’re looking for the fastest and easiest way to earn $11,737 / month, its too easy to do so just being a smart affiliate,choosing the right programs, and working with the right merchants and paymasters.
