This is a great meal for Christmas, New Years or just about any time. It’s easy enough for a dad or anyone to make and much better than making a ham. … and yes I know, I can’t say horse radish to save my life!!! Here’s one of my first TV appearances making it on KMSP Channel 9. http

As a chef in a prime rib and steak house i would recommend prime rib on the bone, I am not sure why the butcher recommended boneless.

a little more well done than I like, but still looks pretty good! a great crust for a roast beef can be made by blending a couple tablespoons flour with an equal amount of butter, fresh minced rosemary, black pepper, and sea salt. Rub it all over the beef before it goes in the oven; to die for! Also, grainy mustard (on its own) rubbed on the beef gives a nice crust.

People, enough with the offensive antigay attacks. What does it matter if Rob is gay or comes across as gay? Who cares? This is a cooking show. You guys need to grow up and open your minds a bit. Most creative people, by the way, are in fact gay. Thank goodness.

huloguy, while I agree with you that homophobic attacks on Rob are stupid and juvenile, I don’t think that calling those who make such attacks “fags” is productive. In fact, it is just as offensive.

Don’t I show the temp. I normally pull it at 117 and let the heat momentum finish it to 120.
