actually it’s a “dripolator”. Drip-O-Later is also a brand name, I have one myself. They don’t make them any more, shame because they make excellent coffee and don’t need filters. very easy to clean and economical. you can look on ebay for one.

I can’t help but smile. Great recipes. Im trying all of this. Its hard for me to do any complicated recipes, there are too much ingredients involved, it all becomes very expensive very quickly.

She’s so sweet..and funny…I hope she’s around for a long long time so that we can enjoy her stories and cooking. I really enjoy watching these vids…I watch these vids of Clara’s and I wish I would have spent time with my grandma in Oklahoma when she was in the kitchen making her wonderful blackberry or peach cobbler….or her homemade biscuits and gravy…YMMMM

Thank You For Replying; Not everyone owned/processed domestic fowl, as zoning regulations, intelligently, prevent disease causing situations, plus growing vegetables/ fruits is permitted on the back, front, and side-yards, via the ‘Victory-Garden’ laws, but successful product yield/storage is the result of extensive study, and knowledge, also consider the fact that not everyone during W.W. 2 had the ground/container space to facilitate their growing/storage of food.

Oh my goodness thats probably the most sugary breakfast I’ve ever seen, probably not fitting for today’s generation but it does seem like an awesome treat to have once in awhile. Thanks for the recipe and the great stories!
