Fuck yeah! Overcook the shit outta that, yeah!
Why 20 minutes? Why not 40? Fuck, an hour is what it needs.

Haha, how about don’t eat steak that has been frozen, frozen steaks, thawed before cooking, hah, now I have heard it all.

ClubberTman obviously doesn’t know the difference between the term “medium” and “medium rare.” he thinks that there is probably only 2 ways to cook, charcoal and bleeding. I knew what you were talking about.
8. aPaThEiSt | November 10th, 2009 at 4:32 pm
Fuck cooking, a real man eats a steak raw.
9. SlyMaelstrom | November 12th, 2009 at 12:50 pm
I know what I’m talking about a lot better than you know what you’re reading apparently. I don’t think I could have been any more explicit. I said “It’s definitely medium.” How more direct could I say it?
10. ClubberTman | November 15th, 2009 at 6:47 pm
Wait…. What the fuck are you saying? You’re saying the steak he cooked isn’t medium rare. Then after that, you’re saying it is medium rare. Do you even know what you’re talking about?

just watching that makes me salivate yum!

He shows the steak… it isn’t medium rare. I like how you know he cooked it four minutes when the video was only one minute and he didn’t say how long he cooked it. It’s definitely medium. That’s how I would eat it, but a lot of steak enthusiasts would say medium is very overcooked and that a proper steak should be done rare to medium rare.

How is it better is you cook it frozen? It loses more moisture if the meat is frozen. Plus if you let it come to room temp and never have it frozen, you can achieve the wonderful medium rare easily that trying to cook the chill of a steak thats just been taken out of the fridge

Youtube quality might not be the best but the steak is past medium rare and also just like the duck breast with gooseberries is cooked past medium rare. Nothing wrong with things past medium rare but the steak is past that doneness and yes most of the video is missing.

Stumble upon… how many times should i watch tis.. this is d 4th time.
16. duffo1974 | November 27th, 2009 at 3:01 am
id cook that steak for 20 mins each side not this poncy minute each side bollox!
17. snail19 | November 29th, 2009 at 9:15 pm
Why would your steak be frozen in the first place? If you want to sear the outside and keep the middle rare simply cook it on a very high heat for 1min each side.

Where is the “Done” at the end?

He didn’t say extra virgin, just olive oil. Not the best oil for the job but still capable for the job.
20. hughescrew | December 6th, 2009 at 2:10 pm
Wow you’re blind then, then again, YouTube standard quality isn’t exactly the best. Gordon cooks medium rare, his pork, medium, he HATES anything beyond medium. That steak was in there for a good four minutes tops, which would yield a medium rare steak. Watch his fillet of beef with a mushroom gratin, then you’ll see true medium rare at it’s finest. P.S. This isn’t the whole video.
21. beautifulturtle | December 6th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
i reckon he overcooked the shit out of that steak…
22. RepublicanNatio | December 7th, 2009 at 1:03 am

TheAnandaXX, I think you’ll be hard pushed to find Michelin giving 3 stars to someone with ‘no skills’. I can totally understand why people might not like Gordon Ramsay as a guy, but you can’t argue with the guy’s cooking ability.
Well you can, clearly, it’s just horrifically misguided.
