Hi Jimmy,
Thanks! I didn’t do it…the viewers did. From reading the comments it seems that the simplicity and affordability of the recipe might be the reason. Plus, who doesn’t like noodles?

Hi RMuha6,
Good question! The eggs I get from the the feed store are fresh each week. If I time it right I can get one day old.

…so how old are YOUR eggs?
you said “the eggs in a grocery store are between 2 and 3 months old” …. and then you interrupted yourself because of the broken shell…
how are YOUR eggs?
….just curious

Hi LIVELISTENLAUGHLOVE,
I don’t think it’s necessary to drain and add fresh water. I’m guessing that some folks might feel that draining the water would provide for a clearer broth. If I were to drain the water, I’d also have to remember to slightly undercook the noodles since I’d have to bring the water and noodles to a boil again in order to poach the eggs I added. And that’s all I have to say about that. Thanks for asking!

Innocently asking, Do we not have to drain out the water we cook noodle and new fresh water before season it?
My Japanese friend told me to do so. If we don’t have to. That would make my ramen cooking easier.

Hi sk8pirate. I’m thinking whether someone knows or doesn’t know how to do something has nothing to do with their intellectual capabilities. In fact many very intelligent folks have no idea how to cook and take care of themselves. Einstein didn’t know his own phone number because he had other, more important numbers to recall.

Some people like the soup and drink it. Others don’t and send it down the drain. It’s up to you!
