As put off as I initially was about eating a rodent,it actually doesn’t look as astoundingly terrible as I thought considering the texture and and cut if the meat–Good BBQ!

I am totally astounded…
Here near Venice (Italy) we are invaded by that animal. I hope no restaurant will offer me that thing on the menu…

Nutria have poor eyesight from what I have observed. Poor helpless creatures, so unexpectantly hunted, when there are so many other things to eat. I am a fan of how gentle these creatures are that I wish this video did not exist.

Hey, mw4, the man says in the video he’s from France. This is a good way to help solve the nutria problem, America needs to get over its pickiness.

I just can’t believe it - here in Northern Italy we have “nutrias”, but I always believed it was a kind of “local-calling” for rats. Seeing it in other places, and *COOKED* shocks me a little O_o

I’d prefer this to some of the shit I’ve seen being eaten in China! The conditions are disgusting!
19. Adventurestud | November 8th, 2004 at 8:49 am
In the words of the immortal Samuel Jackson, “Sewer rat might taste like pumpkin pie but I’d never know cuz I’d never eat the filthy mutherfucker”. Nuff said!

Its not bad. The motto down here is if you can kill it, you can eat it. It tastes a lot like rabbit.
