I like the mixed greens too. Lst year I grew a tender green that was like a mustard and turnip in one! It was wonderful. The lady told me that the seeds I bought were tender greens?

Hey endlessrskies, I like the cheap onions. LOL I usually use the white or yellow onions. I preferr vadalia onions. I red onion for some things because they are sweet. I thye ad color in soups and stews.

Hey Dave!
I LOVE this video! I have always wanted to know how to make southern greens. I have a quick question. I see that you use the “Better Than Bouillon” seasoning, but I was wondering if you have ever used chicken stock before? I saw it on the Food Network and I was thinking about using Emeril’s natural chicken stock. Do you think the “Better Than Bouillon” will taste better than that? Thank you so much in advance for your help. I appreciate any advise you could give me. Have a great day!!

Hey! Thanks for the nice words!

Chicken Base is chicken stock. You can not buy chicken stock and it is too much of a pain to make all the time. I do make it sometimes, but not a lot. I dont know about Emerils natural chicken stock, but all other chicken broth/stock that is in a can or box is just Bouillon in water. The chicken base is real chicken stock that is cooked down and just needs to be added to water. It is great and easy!
